Submission Policy
Submission Policy
Submission of a manuscript signifies that the work has not been previously published, except in the form of an abstract, a published lecture, or an academic thesis, and that it is not currently under consideration by another publication outlet. It further confirms that all authors have granted approval for submission and that the relevant institutional authorities, where applicable, have either explicitly or implicitly endorsed the work.
Nevertheless, the journal permits submissions that have been previously disseminated through preprint platforms—such as arXiv, bioRxiv, Social Science Research Network, and similar repositories—as well as those presented at academic conferences or shared in non-journal formats, including blogs or posters. Upon publication, authors are required to update the corresponding preprint version by adding the journal reference, including the DOI, along with a direct link to the final published article on the journal’s official website.
The publisher and the journal enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are screened using a plagiarism detection system, namely iThenticate, in addition to thorough evaluation by peer reviewers. Each submission undergoes similarity checking through this system prior to the peer-review process.
Furthermore, the journal upholds a stringent stance on self-plagiarism, recognizing it as a form of academic misconduct, as it does not contribute novel insights to scholarly research and scientific advancement.
